All ETX batteries branded under Deka or Banner are made in Lyons Station, PA by East Penn Manufacturing.

The ETX AGM batteries have two distinguishable features:

They utilize a unique looking solid poured lead post. and
The battery case uses a matted or textured ABS plastic as opposed to smooth and shiny finish employed by the competition.

The premium quality absorbed glass mat technology (AGM) is ideal for ATVs, motorcycles, personal watercraft (PWC), side-by-sides & snowmobiles. These batteries do not need to be activated as they are precisely filled and charged at the factory. The AGM design enables a lower self-discharge rate for maximum season-to-season reliability.

There is a good chance that if you own a newer Harley Davidson motorcycle or certain BMW’s that the East Penn Deka battery will be the power source giving life to your ride.Both Harley and BMW will not be using the ETX battery part number. They will be using their own numbering system that corresponds with their company’s existing aftermarket parts catalog.
